I came across a cool application today that lets you trade with Metatrader 4 on your Android phone or other Android OS powered devices. The app is called MT4 Remote, and is available for free on the Android Market. This Metatrader 4 Android app is unique in that you actually run your PC version of Metatrader 4 from your android phone or other device.
Android traders in the past have only interpreted Metatrader data, and have had limited to no chart functionality. Setting up this workaround might seem a bit daunting for the technically challenged; however, traders who want the flexibility of actual MT4 charts will find this solution unbeatable. Access your real MT4 charts, indicators, expert advisors, custom time frames, etc… everything!
How to Get it:
Download the MT4 Remote app from the Android Market. The video below does a pretty good job of explaining the setup, as well as demonstrating some of the app’s functions. You might also find these videos helpful.
Metatrader 5 for Android is available, but only for demo trading. No brokers support the Android app, yet. In fact, there are few brokers that support Metatrader 5, although it has been released for a while now. For now, the best Metatrader 4 / Android combination seems to be MT4 Remote.
